This year I want to try something a little bit different with my website by starting a blog. I'm hoping that by documenting and explaining my process, I will be able to reflect more critically on my work and demonstrate my continuing growth as a creator.


To kick the year off on the right foot, I experimented with some high-contrast macro photography. So on New Years Eve while at home with my family, I played around with some sparklers. The aim was to capture their energy and vibrance, creating dynamic images that were reminiscent of fireworks. Here are some of those images.
